ANIMATION PRACTICE 2 "DANCE"

As it was the third task for the Animation Practice 2, it was pretty interesting and exciting. It was to animate a dance sequence. I planed to do a solo sad performance which was made by a soul of a character, who passed his life without fulfilling his wishes.

According to the situation i started to search for the music and finally i was impressed with the music which i founded on the youtube. It is a sad violin music which was perfectly matching for the mood.




 As per the concept  i stared to work on the preproduction,basically sketches and i created the storyboard. I selected the character MORPHIS Rig which is  very flexible for the dance to animate. Then i started to work on my blocking. And continued in finishing the animation by adding in betweens. Since there is no lipsync, i tried to create the mood with extreme poses of sadness with the help of some analysis of dance steps. But it was really tough to create the mood with the steps and i made it as challenge to myself by completing this animation.

This is the animated video which was done by me for the dance. I really enjoyed while working on this. And got impressed by the music and I am in a plan to move further to explain my feelings which i had while hearing this music with the help of my animation. I hope that i will do my best to finish this Animation successfully with my full effort.
